The Curse of Strahd is a horror novel written by H.P. Lovecraft and published in 1937. It tells the story of Howard Phillips Lovecraft, his wife Sonia, and their friend Arthur Jermyn, Jr., as they travel to Innsmouth in late 1936 to investigate reports of strange goings-on. While there, they become embroiled in a mystery involving the town’s fishing industry and a group of sea captains who are reputed to be cursed.
